Looking for Professional Engineer (Civil in Tallahassee, FL

Florida panhandle area Civil Engineering firm looking for a registered Professional Engineer to provide project management, design and development consulting. Job duties include coordinating the design process from conceptual plans to construction documents, preparing and maintaining project budgets, managing a project team and applying standard engineering principles. Duties will require judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities. Successful candidate must be proficient in the design and implementation of various civil aspects such as geotechnical investigation, drainage principles, commercial/residential land development, utilities, etc.Responsibilities:>Site/civil development including grading, roadway, storm water management systems, erosion and sediment controls, water and wastewater utilities.>Developing construction plans, maintaining project budgets and deadlines, ensure quality of design by developing/reviewing calculations and project specific design factors.>Coordinate projects with client, staff and external permitting agencies/reviewers.>Conducting code research, write specifications, and obtain permits.>Structural design and/or architectural background a plus Qualifications:> 5+ years of relevant experience> B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution> Florida Professional Engineer registration > Experience with (at a minimum) AutoCAD, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), ICPR, MODRET, SWMM, Microsoft Office> Ability to communicate with clients and project teams with excellent verbal and written communication skills> Work effectively in team environment and independently as necessary
